The team, led by captain Rasheedat Ajibade, will participate in a trophy parade through Abuja, starting from the airport and passing through key areas like Airport Road, Berger Junction, Maitama, and Wuse Market before arriving at the villa. Tinubu, who ensured the team’s allowances and bonuses were paid before the final, lauded the players’ determination, particularly highlighting Esther Okoronkwo’s penalty and Jennifer Echegini’s decisive goal.
