The Kogi State government has ordered the temporary closure of markets and car parks in the Kogi West Senatorial District to facilitate ongoing security operations against terrorists, robbers, and other criminal groups.
Kingsley Fanwo, the commissioner for information and communications, announced the decision in a statement on Sunday.
Fanwo stated that the decision was made to supplement improved clearance operations being conducted in conjunction with the office of the national security adviser (ONSA) and head of state security agencies.
