The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the release of the results of the 2026 mop-up Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

This was announced on Tuesday by Fabian Benjamin, Jambs’ spokesperson, in an official statement.
JAMB’s spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, announced the release of the results in a statement on Tuesday.
The 2026 UTME was conducted across about 966 computer-based test (CBT) centres nationwide between April 16 and April 23.
However, technical glitches at some examination centres prevented a number of candidates from taking the test as scheduled.
JAMB scheduled June 13 to conduct the mop-up examination for candidates who missed this year’s examination.
In its statement, the board urged candidates who sat for the mop-up examination to access their results through the board platforms.
JAMB also stated that result slips would be available for printing before the end of the week.
“Candidates who participated in the examination can check their results through the Board’s established result-checking channels,” the statement said.
“Following the successful conclusion of the mop-up exercise and the release of the results, the Board will commence the ranking of candidates.
“Thereafter, the printing of results for admission purposes is expected to begin before the weekend.
“JAMB appreciates the patience, understanding, and cooperation of all candidates and stakeholders throughout the conduct of the 2026 UTME and the subsequent mop-up exercise.”

Before now, the board had made it clear that there would be no further opportunity for candidates to sit the 2026 UTME after the mop-up examination.
