Opportunity: Moniepoint Women in Tech Internship (Deadline: April 3)

Moniepoint is offering a six-month Women in Tech Internship designed to empower young women to build sustainable careers in technology. The programme will select 15 women, each of whom will receive direct mentorship from industry experts while gaining hands-on experience working on real projects shaping the future of finance in Africa.

Interns can choose from nine technical and product teams, including Cybersecurity, Backend Engineering, Data Engineering, Product Management, Mobile Engineering, Frontend Engineering, Cloud Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Site Reliability Engineering. Across these teams, participants will develop practical skills such as building software solutions, analysing data for business impact, managing cloud infrastructure, improving product experiences, and maintaining system reliability.

For instance, cybersecurity interns will monitor threats and support incident investigations, while data engineering interns will analyse datasets to improve business strategies. Product management interns will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop customer-focused solutions, and mobile and frontend engineers will contribute to building and optimising user-facing applications.

The internship is structured to provide real-world exposure, allowing participants to work closely with engineering and product teams, contribute to live projects, and learn industry best practices in a collaborative environment.
